The Devil represents wild behaviour and reckless abandon. This is a card synonymous with temptation and addiction. At its worst, this card embodies evil, but at its best represents ambition, impulsiveness and pure devotion. You should be acutely aware of the destructive influences in your life and gather the strength to overcome them.

"This is a card synonymous with temptation and addiction." Seeing those words made me realize how much of that exists within me. I'm a responsible individual who doesn't indulge in my temptations because I have an impressive amount of self-control...in the conventional sense. I don't blow my money away. I do what I'm supposed to do when I'm supposed to do it. When I do things I shouldn't, I always make sure that I can afford to fuck up. Plus, I'm not tempted to do a lot of things become my paranoia terrifies me. I do have an addictive personality, though. That's when I realized how much I indulge in my temptations because of my addictive nature. I clean, I obsess, I stress, I write, I talk, etc. Everything is in excess.
